Chef Darren Nixon & Divine

Chef Darren Nixon radiates a sincere joy for cooking, especially for fresh Alberta lamb. Chef Nixon was trained at SAIT in Calgary and expanded his culinary skills by specializing in French cooking at the Country Inn just outside of Paris, France. His menus always feature fresh Alberta Lamb and customers consistently come back for more. Chef Darren has created a series of recipes for Alberta Lamb.

Owners Darren Nixon & Lareina Wayne have watched divine evolve from a casual lunch cafe to today’s full-service, licensed establishment. The focus on food, made with fresh high quality ingredients, has remained the same. divine received a great review (8 out of 10) from CBC restaurant critic John Gilchrist and has been included in his new book "My Favorite Places to Eat in Calgary and Banff"
